If You Don't Stand For Something

Living in a desert is crazy. I'll never be used to random sandstorms and how different the weather is in the morning and at night.
I miss Germany.
I don't know that much has really changed in my life since I stopped writing. I lived in Germany for 4 years, went through 2 deployments which was a lot worse for him than it was for me. I'll never understand why some say being a spouse is the hardest job in the military. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and think about what they may be going through and not how hard it is to sleep alone at night. At least you have a bed to sleep in.
I have lost 120 lbs in 18 months. I still have 25 to go but it feels amazing to wear normal clothes every day and see myself in the mirror.
The kids are awesome. Destiny is 11. She's in middle school and has a boyfriend. She makes me feel old. lol She also enjoys stealing my clothes.
Matthew will be 8 on May 1st. He loves school and plays soccer. He loves talking and talking. lol he's my baby and I plan to keep it that way. ;-) I'm not saying having more than 2 kids is bad. I think having 4 or 5 is great for some but I know my limitations for now. lol
Anyway, I should get off this phone and start dinner. The kids are starving to death apparently... :P

Long time no write.
I'm alive so that's good. lol I think I've forgotten how to write. I rarely do it anymore. Definitely going to try to get back into it. Just thought I'd make myself known again. ;))
